I have always been the type to obsess over Pinterest. It’s seriously one of my favorite self-care past times!
My favorite thing to do is go to a board I’ve already been curating, whether it’s my home decor board, styling look-book board, dream home board, or dream traveling board — depends on whichever mood I’m in — and click on the “more ideas” tab.
But, I realized that some people can’t see how to find items similar to those that they pin. Sure, they have good taste or they wouldn’t like what they pin!
However, when it comes to shopping for themself, they don’t know what it is about that bedroom or living room that they actually like. So when they see those items alone out in the wild, they walk right on by because they see the big picture, not the little details.
Which, hi guys! This is why I’m here.
My sister is pregnant with baby number 2 (yay!) and her first daughter! She is exactly one of those people who LOVES Pinterest and gets so inspired, but then her vision falls short when she can’t find the things that she actually likes when she’s shopping. She can’t pinpoint what it is that she likes about her pins. She gets discouraged easily and just settles for whatever she can find. The things she ends up with isn’t necessarily what she originally
So I want to offer something new and different than what I usually offer!
HOME DECOR SERVICES!
I’ve been creating virtual shopping boards with links to clothes/personal shopping, why can’t I also do for interior design and decor? Below is the room I have collaged for my sister’s baby room. She already has the crib and she picked out the wallpaper but she wasn’t sure what else she wanted. Her only notes was “I don’t want too much pink.”
This room has a crib with a matching changing table and nightstand, the constellation rug centered in the room, and the faux sheepskin rug for comfort at the base of the changing table. The wallpaper will be as an accent wall that the crib will sit under. The honeycomb shelf ties beautifully with the mustard and floral theme! The sheer curtains have a slight golden triangle pattern detail, that hangs on a double curtain rod underneath the thick ochre curtains, to give light when light is needed, and darkness when the baby naps during the day.
On the Pinterest board, I will provide 3 collage room looks, and also pin each item to where you can directly purchase that item immediately! Just give me a budget! You can provide a few dream baby rooms or an idea/theme you have in mind, and let me do the work! I will link you directly to the item to purchase and make this process a breeze for you.
