I loved working with Marcella!! She came highly recommended by other folks who have worked with her, so I read through her services, decided the blog post was the right move for me, and submitted via her contact form. I was looking for help identifying some cuts, colors, and fits that would make me feel comfortable in my body, as well as upgrading my style from Millennial fast fashion to something more sustainable that I could ride with into my 30s.

I bombarded Marcella with my expansive Pinterest board of a scattershot collection of things I liked. She was able to parse the trends that I was Pinning into a couple of buckets of types and styles of clothing – and walked me through the benefits of a capsule wardrobe. Once we had nailed down our goals, closet budget, and measurements, Marcella turned around the blog post in a great amount of time!

The blog post is awesome. It has a good mix of higher and lower cost items, staple and statement pieces – and all the suggestions are only from a handful of stores, so I didn't have to have a bunch of separate checkouts. I find myself referring back to the blog post to read the notes about how a particular fit or cut will look on my frame. All in all, I've found several styles I wouldn't have picked for myself that are my favorite things to wear AND I've found a few new brands thanks to Marcella that I'll be filling out the rest of my wardrobe with! “I was recently promoted to a high-level position at work and had to travel overseas for an important conference. As usual, I was at a total loss for what to wear; my body type isn’t the easiest to shop for, so 90% of my shopping experiences end with me leaving a store feeling frustrated and demoralized.

“I've had a love/hate relationship with clothes ever since I can remember. Loved the Sunday School Watermelon Dress. Hated the frilly socks that made my ankles itch. While I wanted to have my own sense of style, I hated going to the mall and digging through racks of clothes. It never seemed like I could put together an outfit that I liked at a single store. Instead, I had to go to multiple stores for one look and my patience would expire quickly.

A couple of weeks ago, I went through my clothes in my closet and I got rid of a few pieces. So, when Marcella came this week to organize my closet, I did not think it was going to help that much. Boy, was I wrong! I believe I let go probably 1/3 or more of clothes. Now when I go in my closet, it looks so great and it makes me feel so good! I am super satisfied with my experience with using Marcella’s services!
