Personal Styling - Brooke

Marcella Caudill August 27, 2023

I am thrilled with this board you made! Sexy yet professional, comfy yet chic.

When I do blogs, I try and focus on as many items per store as possible to help with the shipping as well as finding comparable items at different price points.

The brands I pulled from are Aritzia, Banana Republic, White House Black Market, Intentionally Blank, Schutz, Sezane, Spanx, The Outnet, Thursday Boot Co, and a couple others! Couldn’t help myself, I found so many stunning pieces! When it comes to shoes, I do like to spend a bit more money - more expensive generally means more comfortable.

Let me know if you have any questions or feel like something is missing.

Snake Chain

The hero necklace that goes with all. Sexy, confident, chic.

$120

Delicate

Gold and pearl, thin, delicate — ultimate chic

$105

Silk top

What’s not to love?! Only wish the black was also available. So beautiful!

$90

Additional!

Love this shell. Would pair beautifully with the brown cardigan!

$30

Basic and cool

Great layering piece to wear under the cardigans or blazers for those warm to cooler days.

$45

Essential work top

Really nice! Love the pleating/gathering detail at the shoulders

$59.99

Collar detail/linen

Without a doubt this is cute! Linen is a summer fabric, so maybe less usable than the one above but I do like the collar detail here.

$50

Cream silk!

I love this fit. Would look great with the brown pants, the white pants, and the black pants or skirts. It’s really pretty!

$130

Ruched sleeve

Cute and simple!

$49.50

Button up neck

I love the sleeve length on this one. First choice.

$75

2nd choice

This one is cheaper and similar to the above look. But I like how the other one is more fluid. But I do like this too as an additional option instead of a “2nd choice” cheaper one.

$45

Additional necessity

Love this top - had to add!

$35

Wildcard

I did find this for cheaper at Saks off 5th but it was final sale and I hate a final sale! I can’t tell if this is too busy of a print but I do like it. Worth buying and seeing how you feel! I like the different neck tie detail that changes the silhouette of a work blouse, especially since your office is leaning more casual.

$80

Fun print

I’m very picky about my prints but I think this is super cute for you!

$99

Wildcard

I love this print and think the blue would really pull out the blue in your eyes! Also something about the blousy-ness of this top is telling me to size down 1 size

$40

Slinky long sleeve

I love the little collar on this black top and it’s a good price point! Cute. I like this with the white wide leg pants, the white and black little zebra looking belt (at the bottom of the page) and the white mules! Cute!

$62.30

Classic

Navy silky blouse. I like mix-matching navy and brown or navy and black. Super pretty top.

$128

Ribbed mock neck

She is so pretty. Goes with everything on this page. Maybe buy 2 white ones!

$160

Washable cashmere blend

What’s not to love here. Washable cashmere? How can it be? I’m super intrigued and love this ribbing detail.

$95

Neck details

I love a chic sweater with interesting details like this. Pair with any of the black bottoms or brown pants.

$130

Stunning cardigan

I love this so much that I pinned the brown and the blue version for you, even though they’re both slightly different. Would look great with the white pants or brown pants or can even go with the black cigarette pants or black skirt with the slit and the butterscotch boots - fun!

$170

Crochet detail Cardigan

I love the crochet detailing on this cardigan and the oversized pockets and the boxy fit. Can wear on it’s own or with a tank under.

$170

On the go

What’s not to love. It’s kind of perfect. Maybe buy in all the colors!

$228

Wildcard

I had to include this. This is a $700 designer blazer I found for 60% off! The brown and pink is definitely a bit of a wildcard but I think it still blends nicely in the color palette we have here. Can wear with or without the belt. Love the ruched sleeve! Spring, Summer, and Fall look.

$261

Sweater (blazer) Weather

So pretty it speaks for itself. Can pair with any of the black or white or even brown pieces in this page. Like I keep saying, I love blue and brown combos!

$180

Oversized casual blazer

This is the blazer that matches the pants further down the page. I love the oversized-ness of this. So chic. Would look great with honestly any of the tops I’ve saved. Would even look cute with the brown drape pants or white pants since the buttons have that little bit of natural coloring to it. Gorgeous and versatile!

$225

Classic

Classic fitting black blazer. Here’s a tip - if you don’t like the little pocket flaps, tuck them into the pockets and you’ll have a nice crisp line!

$238

Gorgeous overcoat

I saved this entire outfit onto this board. It’s just so good. This coat is everything. And with the black buttons, you can wear black under if you wish!

$405

Fall to Winter

This yells power coat to me. Super modern yet feels classic at the same time. Would never go out of style. Color would look gorgeous on you, and who needs a scarf with this stunning neck!

$328

Funky

There’s something so chic about a long skirt with a slit down the front. Pair with a black long sleeve, black blazer, and the black suede tall boots! Perfect fall office look.

$150

Spanx pinterest find

Easy go to’s that go with anything and everything! Sure to fit beautifully since it’s Spanx!

$118

Chic

I love the drape of these and the matching belt. For shoes, you can pair this with the brown boots below, either of the black heels, or the white and gold sandals. I would LOVE to see this with the brown mock neck tank and the brown and pink blazer and the brown boots. SHOW STOPPER. Would also look stunning with the cream silk tank and the brown cardigan with either of the over coats! Love this so much. STAPLE for sure. Can also look cute to remove the belt and add the funky white/black animal print belt!

$148

Replacement pants for the ones above

Sad that the above pant sold out. They may come back in stock so if you wish to wait 2 weeks we can check back. Otherwise, here is a similar pant! And matching blazer below.

$150

2 piece suit look

If you want a full 2 piece matching suit this is a nice color brown! I still think even without the other drapey chic pants, you can get that other blazer and wear with jeans :)

$250

Sure to fit nice - Spanx slim fit

I think the ones below might be better. But I do like these and we all need a classic slim fit cigarette pant in our closet.

$148

Classic pants

These are comparable to the Spanx ones above. I THINK I like this one better? A looser fit for the cigarette, but either gives off a classic look and they’re surprisingly the same price.

$148

Matching to the blazer

I like a modern suit that isn’t a Macy’s look. These are the same pants below but in black. I say get both! I love them.

$170

Patch pocket

These are the cutest work pant. Has a retro vibe with the patch pocket, but feels modern and new and gorgeous! Pair with the slinky blue blouse above, or the cream ribbed long sleeve, or the cream silk blouse, or even mix and match with the brown tank and brown boots! Would look beautiful too with the blue sweater blazer!

$160

Perfect White Denim

These are gorgeous! Pairs well with neutrals!

$125

Spanx white denim

I’m between these and the ones above. Worth getting and comparing the two and seeing which one fits/looks best. I THINK I prefer the ones above mainly because I prefer the button at the waist.

$168

The jeans!

Dress these up with a blazer, dress it up with one of the cardigans, or dress it down with the button up neck long sleeve! Cute!

$138

Pretty slim fit

I love this wash! Perfect to pair with a blazer or the overcoat!

$125

Make it stand out

I love this little black dress. Flattering cut, pair with the tights below and a tall boot and you’ve got a great date night outfit or work event outfit! Good price point, too! The arms/mock cowl neck is so chic.

$68

Sheerly devine

Don’t let the price scare you. These are the tights we use in film because they LAST. I have a pair and have worn them 4 times already and no rips yet!

$70

LBD

This is super cute, would look great with any of the cardigans posted above.

$120

LBD

Had to add. So chic!

$65

Additional add!

Nice dress to add to your closet for corporate events or even a cocktail party! Appropriate for every season!

$60

L(blue)D

Couldn’t not throw this in. Beautiful and affordable!

$45

Belt included!

I love this so much! The drape is gorgeous! Wear on its own or wear with either of the camel overcoats! Would look great with any of the tall boots posted below as well as the white and gold sandals or black heels

$210

Satin shirtdress

So elegant! This color would look stunning on you!

$50

Shirtdress

I love the pleat detailing on this shirtdress! And you can’t beat this price!

$56

Wildcard

I love this?! Pair with the gold and white sandals and either of the cardigans or the camel blazer and you’ve got a super unique work look that can look good in multiple ways or situations! I also like the black!

$78

Cutesie tootsies

These are so fun! I love these. Different and classic and they’ve got personality!

$154

Casual work

I love the curved details on the block heel of these!

$120

Ankle support

This brand is known for their comfort and this looks like a “I can wear this all day and still look cute” shoe.

$76.80

Funky!

Balletcore is currently trending but I like that these are simple and fun and classic, yet not boring? Very cute.

$148

Spring/Summer/Fall sandal

I’m mildly obsessed with these. Looks great with white or brown or black!

$178

Spring/Summer/Fall Mule

These with the cigarette black pants or paired with the wide leg white pants would look stunning!

$140

The most beautiful brown!

Out of all the shoes I’ve found, these are my favorites. I think getting these in an 11 is the way to go.

$188

Pointy toe

So sleek and elegant!

$168

Square toe

What’s hard with short/tall boots is finding one where the ankle isn’t too tight or too wide. Also love the detailing on this boot and the square toe. Gorgeous!

$198

Mid Calf High Boot

Love these with any of the black dresses or the long black skirt. So cute! These are suede and more slouchy than the black leather ones, so it’ll have a drape-ier appearance!

$154

Classic

I love these. Boots that will never go out of style and will last for multiple fall/winter seasons

$299

Wildcard

I almost put the expected beige/cream colored boot on here to go with the black button dress or the black slit skirt…but I really thing these are a great almost-brown put accent color that would go beautifully with the black and brown options here! This butterscotch color is everything. I also enjoy that it might pull out the gold details in a fun way?

$299

Wildcard

This could be fun with white or black or brown looks to break up the solids and add some interest to a basic look! Love!

would look great with the orange/brown satin shirtdress!

$51

Classic

Classic, simple, and elegant.

$68

Belt from Pinterest

$50

Isabel Morant - The Outnet

$492

A bit of a splurge but a great spring summer dress for events! I’d add a pink or black knee length slip

DEREK LAM Crosby

$225

Linen Dress - perfect for spring/summer

Missoni

$265

Ok this is a splurge but it’s Missoni and should last for 10 years. I love this color palette for you. would looks stunning with brown trousers, pink trousers, navy trousers, jeans, white jeans - everything. so pretty!

Everlane

$55 - I like this in all the colors!

Sezane

$55

This soft blue, ecru, and the red top would be great shapes and pops of color to add to your closet!

Sezane

$175

great piece for summer to pair with a tan blazer for an on the go work look!

Sezane

$135

Maybe this print is better in a short? Shorts are always hard for adults and I think this is sophisticated and super cute for summer!

Sam Edelman

$130

I’d get black and white! These are hugely on trend right now and a great alternative work shoe! if you wear with shorts, add a little sock to go with!

Sezane - the sock

$20 - just including but can be any sock you like! but this height is good. I get similar pairs at target for $7 :)

Sezane

$110

year round blouse that can go with trousers or jeans or skirts. get the size below - appears to be oversized

Everlane

$76 - on sale

I noticed we don’t have any crop pants really in your closet. These would be good for spring summer and into early fall. The material is really nice too, a good drapey and not too stiff

New Balance

$99

A new sneaker that’s known for how comfortable it is to switch some things up a bit!

Sezane

$175

This with the Missoni tank?! stunning. Can also pair with the Derek lam blazer I believe! would need to check to see that the contrast isn’t too distracting. Great for spring summer

Marcella Caudill August 4, 2023

Here are a “few” of my favorite items based off of the vibe of the photos you shared with me. I definitely went overboard but couldn't help myself! I feel like they all compliment each other and your own color palette as well. It’s a big blend of pieces that can easily blend together for any occasion. Casual, modern, comfortable, and put together is key. The stores I pulled from are Anthropologie, And Other Stories, Buck Mason, Free People, Intentionally Blank, Madewell, Marine Layer, Sezane, The Reformation, Veja. I tried to find more than one piece from each store to balance the shipping costs.

Prices and styling notes shown for each item. Click image for direct link to purchase.

Cute sling bag for work or errands!

I love this bag. I know white can be scary, but this vegan leather bag can be wiped down with a wet wipe to prolong wear or use a magic eraser on tough smudge spots. I liked this one more to add a pop of color and it is the neutral bone color bag that goes with everything!

$78 - probably will last 3 years and will definitely still be in fashion

The be-all-end-all tank

The #1 basic we all need in our closet. A heathered faded black muscle tank. Love this so much in the faded black Venice wash and the concrete core color. I feel like a good looking tank is something most women don’t have enough of in their closet. Gorg.

$45

Interesting fits

I’m surprised that I love this actually. I think it’ll be wise to mix pink in as an accent color for you. Pink is a great neutral color and is basically a shade of brown :) It gives a soft touch but is interesting to contrast it with a more edgier pant and boot.

$40

Racerback Tank

Love a racerback cut tank. It’s always a flattering cut! Also great layering piece for a looser fitting strappy jumpsuit. I like how high the neck is too, would look great to go under a button up or blazer to mix things up! I’d get this in both white and black.

$28

Switching up necklines

The most interesting black tank I could find! Love this. Pairs great with the 2 black skirts or any of the pants.

$58

In the details

The seam down the center back and the buttons down the front are what makes this top interesting! Can be tucked or knotted at the side, can be layered over another tank or worn on its own. Love this in both brown as shown and black!

$38

All about the layer

This is a fun one to have to layer under the short sleeve button ups for a casual errand vibe.

$40

Good Vibes

I’m not really one to buy a band tee without it being from the concert itself, but I love that this t-shirt looks old and worn and vintage. The cut is nice and the white is a good color. Maybe it’s worth buying and cutting it across at the hip to give it a natural rolled hem and a boxier fit. Super cute :) Also, apologies if you hate Stevie!

$78

Versatile top

I think this top would look perfect on you and it’s similar to the ones from your Pinterest board - but I prefer the texture that this one has. If you click on the other color that it has available there is a pic of what it looks like on. V cute.

$40

Vintage Vibe tee

This “spiced Olive” color tee has a slight muscle cut in the sleeve with a more fitted body. Great color for you within the rust/green family.

$18.50

All About The Muscles

Love this cut sleeve with the seam detail running down the front

$49

Cute

I love that this reminds me of a cartoon sketch with the outlines. Love where the sleeve hits on the arm. Definitely a different silhouette than the other vibes but could be fun to mix in with the wide leg pants or any of the skirts.

$79

Clean Basics

I love the drape and cut of this. Super simple and made from hemp so it’s incredibly soft

$88

Vintage vibes

This is a cute linen camp shirt. Perfect neutral to add and perfect weight shirt for these hot summer days. Can tuck and blouse it out, tuck one side only, leave it untucked, or gather and knot at the front. Pair with fitted tank or fitted crop tank.

$55

Drapey

I love the drape of this top and the color of it. I do wish it was fully a long sleeve shirt, but I think it’s super interesting and worth considering. Can tuck or knot at the front.

$98

Summer tones

This one is a bit brighter than I’d normally go with but I like the shape of it and the different striping without being a full ass pattern in your face.

$68

Incredibly versatile

This can be dressed up or down. Tucked, untucked, half tucked on one side, or knotted in the front. Pair with the jumpsuit for a casual look, or pair with the black brown print floral skirt for a fun tone on tone, or pair with the wide leg pants and the slip on mules. It’s also linen so perfect for any weather above 60. Love this!

$110

Year round cardi

This one is risky because it’s final sale but you can’t beat cashmere

$68.

It’s a wrap

I love this for the fall/winter. The wrap aspect of it give it that extra little oomph that we all want when shopping for stand out pieces. This could look cool over the Fleetwood t-shirt and wide leg pants, or pair it with the black skirt worn as a full dress. Special lil piece worth adding on the off season at this price point

$69

Clean lines

A steeper price but I love the lines of this cardigan. Can also wear it backwards, the buttons going up the back.

$120

Professionally cool

I love a gathered sleeve blazer! Perfect for looking casual and chic at the same time. I’d imagine great for shooting pics too, with sleeves permanently pushed up just right.

$148

Wildcard

Another piece I wasn’t sure I’d like but find myself drawn to it. It has a sporty vibe to it that I really like?! Would look great with the grey/black buck mason muscle tank and the buck mason wide leg pants and the suede heeled mules. This was inspired by the Pinterest image of the 2 women in splattered pant pants and graphic tees. I’d order in a size L

$158

New take on a classic

I love this take on a denim jacket. Would look great with the jumpsuit, with the leopard skirt, or with any pant. Super cute.

$168

On the go

Because who doesn’t need a black jumpsuit?! This one is belted so great for shaping and also has a cute cut out in the back. Great for personal life and to make it fit into work life, just add a blazer.

$128

Casual/cool

Love this jumpsuit. Pair with the orange/cream retro tank or the white racerback tank or choose to go topless and reveal an open back.

$118

Two in one skirt/dress

It’s hard to tell by looking at the black color, but if you toggle to the teal you’ll see the 2 ways you can wear this skirt. I like this one because it has texture. Anything that is black needs to be interesting whether it’s utilizing texture or fading tones. Love this as a dress up or can even be dressed down!

$60

Summer Skirt

I’m obsessed with this skirt. It’s linen and such a good subtle print. Pair with the white racerback tank and doc marten boots. Pair with the brown cropped Madewell brown blouse and loafers. Pair with the chartreuse t-shirt and the black blazer and docs to give this floral pattern a bit of edge. LOVE.

$178

It’s all in the details

I love this skirt. I recently saw one from the 70s that actually looked a lot like this one (except that one was poly blegh!) Love the textured fabric details on this. Would look great paired with the similar tone olive t-shirt and the doc marten boots for a funky monochrome look, great with the white racerback tank and red Birkenstocks, and would look great with the Fleetwood Mac tee. Love this.

$128

Soft

It’s interesting to me how both leopard print skirt options tell a different story. This one is less edgy, but still sexy in its own way. Pair with black or cream tops, the mule heel here or edge it up with the doc or dress it down with the birk.

$150

Wild

This one is a bit pricier but it’s one of those going out pieces. Pair with the black square neck top and leona boots for ultimate edgy chic.

$198

Tapered leg

I have these in black but there is just something about this blue that makes me think 70s which makes me think it’s the perfect pop of color to mix in to your neutrals. Every time I wear these, someone buys a pair ha! They are so super cute and beyond interesting with all the panels! I like that they are baggy but aren’t “trendy”. Can be paired with a crop top, something fitted and tucked, with a blazer, with a jean jacket, literally goes with all. Unique af.

$98

Wide leg

I love these pants. I noticed you liked everything cinched at the waist and this does that and so much more by having an exaggerated tall waist band. No need to wear a belt with this, the waist band with double buttons is incredible! This restock date is expect August 2. Goes with freaking EVERYTHING. Love love love. And it’s organic/ethically made? Must buy.

$98

Patch me up

I like the large patch pockets and the faded black coloring!

$100

A different look

So this is from Buck Mason which is like, the ultimate “chill/got my shit together” looking store (think of it as a more upscale version of Everlane). This pant is similar to the Everlane wide legs I pulled above, but there is something incredibly special about this olive/khaki/vintage coloring. Love. Recommend starting at size 31 for a size 12

$145

Rust pant

I wanted to find the Everlane ones you pinned but it must be sold out (I have those too in 3 colors) This is a great comparable pair and I honestly like them even more with a bit wider of a leg

$88

New take on a classic shoe

I have these in the mustard tone but now I want in black! 100% recycled shoe made from shit from the Amazon rainforest. I like how they aren’t a converse? These shoes have something to say without trying hard at all. They go with EVERYTHING. Pair with cute crew socks or hide with an ankle sock

$155

The not-neutral neutral sneaker

This sneaker goes with everything while also being completely neutral. I love Veja so much!

$175

Modern classic

Loafers are hit or miss for me. I think these can honestly go with any outfit. Can be a funky look if you match with a fun sock, or it can be a professional look styled with a cropped pant or wide leg pant. Also a good summer shoe for when it’s alternative, a boot, is too hot to wear. Such a versatile shoe and who doesn’t love a not-in-your-face platform.

$188

Spring/Summer/Fall boot

These can be styled with most pants but I like it most with a wide leg or barrel leg. Good for elevating a look if you want to branch away from a sneaker. Boho/Chic/Classic

$120

Unique yet relatable

I love a good Birkenstock. These are perfect. An interesting take on a classic. I like the 2 tone suede/leather action they’ve got going on!

$150

The Leona

The leona docs are my favorite of the docs. Order 1 size down to ensure it fits. These are a must have. Just overall a great boot that’ll last you years and only get better with age.

$190

Elevate

These are a bit more expensive for a sandal than I’d normally recommend but these can elevate a plain outfit to the next level. The brown is an interesting tone, the gold buckles, and the same color sole for the platform - so cute.

$176

Sock it to me

Not gonna lie, I love the sock with shoe trend. Fun and funky and a way to show a fun personality. These retro ones are super cute.

$14

Subtle accessories

Similar vibes to the black one, but again it’s unique in its own way. A little boho, a little western, yet modern all the same.

$70

Subtle accessories

I like the idea of a western belt for you but don’t like all the frills that comes with that. This is the most interesting one and it ticks all the boxes without being obnoxious and in your face!
